My Words, They Are Spirit And They Are Life
Jesus called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that which goeth
into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a
man. 15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. 16 And Jesus
said, Are ye also yet without understanding? 17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever
entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18 But those
things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts,
false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with
unwashen hands defileth not a man. Matt 15:10-11,15-20
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man
be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh
is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is
born of the Spirit. John 3:3-8
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened
unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he
give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is
in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matt 7:7-11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall
your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Luke 11:13
Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For
all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have
need of these things. Seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto
you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the
kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a
treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Luke 12:31-34
When he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he
answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither
shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luke 17:20-21
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matt 6:10
