The Everlasting Gospel                                Page 2 of 3
Jesus said, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
John 4:24

To us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord
Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Cor 8:6

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5 One
Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all,
and in you all. Eph 4:4-6

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, "The LORD said unto my
Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes a footstool for thy feet. 36 Therefore
let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye
have crucified, both Lord and Christ." Acts 2:34-36

For in him (Christ Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are
complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (authority.)12 Buried with him
in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who
hath raised him from the dead. Of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law came by Moses (through Moses was given,) but grace and truth came by
Jesus Christ (came through Jesus Christ.) 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only
begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:16

We know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may
now him that is true, and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true
God, and eternal life. 1 John 5:20

He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have
gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all.  Isa 55:5,6

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every
name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things (beings in heaven, and
on earth, and under the earth.) 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Phil 2:9-11

This is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that
hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things
have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye
have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  1 John 5:11-13

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me."  John 14:6
"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." John 10:9-11

Jesus cried and said, "He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 And he that sees me (beholds) sees him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world,
that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hear my
words, and believe not, I judge him not: for
I came not that I might judge the world, but that I
might save the world.
48 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has him that judges
him: t
he word which I  spoke, that shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I from myself spoke not;
but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I
should speak. 50
And I know that his commandment is life eternal: whatsoever I speak
therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." John 12:44-50

As many as received him, to them gave he power (authority) children of God to be, to all
those that believe on his name: 13 Who not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the
will of man, but of God were born. 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.
John 1:12-14

Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be
born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the
Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be
born again (born anew.) 8 The wind where it will blows, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell from where it comes, and to where it goes: so is every one that is born of
the Spirit." John 3:3-8

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth
alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he
that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him
follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my
Father honour. John 12:23-26

We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps
himself, and that wicked one touches him not. 19 And we know that we are of God, and the
whole world lieth in wickedness. (lieth in the wicked one ) 1 John 5:18,19

John bare record, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending from heaven (as a dove) and it
abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same
said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining (abiding) on
him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I saw, and bare record that
this is the Son of God.  John 1:32-34

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, "If any man thirst,
let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believes on  me, as the scripture hath said, out
of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." 39 But this spake he of the Spirit, which they
that believe on him were about to receive.  John 7:37-39

Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall
give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him, nor know him: but ye know him;
for with you he abides and in you shall be. 18 I will not leave you (comfortless) orphans: I will
come to you.  19 Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees me but ye see me because I
live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I
in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he
that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us,
and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep
my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with
him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not
mine, but the Father’s which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet
present with you. 26 But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and will bring to your remembrance all things, that I have said
unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 15 Ye have heard how I said
unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I
said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.  29 And now I have told you before
it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30 Hereafter I will not talk
much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. 31 But that the
world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so
I do. Arise, let us go hence." John 14:15-31

Jesus said,  "When the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, the
Spirit of truth, who from the Father goes forth, he will bear witness concerning me:  27 And
ye also bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning." John 15:1-27

When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And  suddenly there came out of heaven a sound as of a rushing mighty wind (strong
breath), and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them
cloven (divided) tongues as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them. 4 And they were all
filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance (gave to them to speak forth.) Acts 2:1-4 Now when this was noised abroad, the
multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak
in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another,
Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own
tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in
Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and
Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews
and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the
wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to
another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of
Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the
last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days
of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs
in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into
darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall
be saved.  Acts 2:6-21

Jesus said, "Behold, I give you the power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions,
and upon all the power of the enemy: and nothing you in no wise shall injure. 20 Yet in this
rejoice not, that the spirits to you are subject, but rejoice rather, that your names are written
in heaven."  Luke 10:19,20
"I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you
. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to
him that knocks it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father,
will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he
shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts unto your children:
how much more the Father who is in (of) heaven give the Holy
Spirit to them that ask him?"
 Luke 11:9-13

Jesus said,  "For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son
quickens whom he will.  22 For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment
unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honours not the Son honours not the Father which hath sent him.   24 Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that hears my word, and believes him that sent me,
has eternal life , and shall
not come into condemnation; but has passed from (out of) death into life.
25 Verily, verily, I say
unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of
God: and they having heard shall live. 26
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he
given to the Son to have life in himself."
John 5:21-26

Then Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye shall have eaten the
flesh of the Son of man, and shall have drunk his blood, ye have not life in you.  54 He that
eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day.
55 For my flesh truly is food, and my blood truly is drink.  56 He that eats my flesh, and drinks
my blood, in me abides, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the
Father (because of the Father:) so he that eats me, he also shall live by me (because of me.)
58 This is that bread which out of the heaven came down. Not as your fathers did eat manna,
and died: he that eats this bread shall live for ever." John 6:53-58

Jesus said,  "If then ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the
spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit,
and they are life." John 6:62,63

He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God
hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth
on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abideth on him.  John 3:33-36

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which
taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is
preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be
made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record,
saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I
knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom
thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth
with the Holy Ghost. (Holy Spirit) 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus
as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!  John 1:29:36

(John said) "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is
mightier than I, whose shoes i am unworthy to bear: he shall baptize you with The Holy Ghost
(Holy Spirit), and with fire"Matt 3:11

Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Holy Spirit)
Acts 2:38

He that believeth and is baptized (*of water and of the Holy Spirit) shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned. Marked 16:16
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born *of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that hears my word, and believeth on Him (believes Him) that
sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death
unto life." John 5:24

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb 11:1
Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that
he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6

What saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for
righteousness. Rom 4:3

The righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall
ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down from above: 7 Or, Who shall descend into
the deep? that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. 8 But what saith it? The word is
nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:6-10

Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matt 11:28-30

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time
to
seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness (His Holy Spirit) upon you. Hosea 10:12

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matt 5:6

Jesus said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what
ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the
body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which
neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better
than the fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that
Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  28 If then God so clothe the
grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will
he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye
have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall
be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you
the kingdom.
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure
in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For
where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 35 Let your loins be girded about, and
your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will
return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him
immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find
watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat,
and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in
the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the
goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched,
and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for
the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Luke 12:22-40
