| Hi Everyone, The Lord has been so very good to us over the past few months. His Love is so great that it is indescribable by our words. Apostle Paul said, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:35 We have just experienced a four day power outage here in our part of the city of Greenville, SC, due to an ice storm. We had to adjust to having no electronic appliances, no electronic heating, and no electronic media, etc. It was quite a new experience for us who live and were raised up in this electronic age. It made me knowledgeable of the ways that God, our great creator, made for us to be able to live and to survive on this earth. Most everyone feels that they need this temporary natural electric power so much that we are willing to work hard to get money to pay for it. God's Power and Spirit of Life, which is a gift from God that so many are neglecting to receive, is the true power that we all need and must have to exists and survive. By not having natural electric power for four days also brought to my mind that the power of God will never go out and will never cease to be. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 Jesus said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 Below is a song that I just wrote about the true power that we all need. It is in the tune of a familiar Bluegrass song titled "If You Don't Love Your Neighbor, You Don't Love God" It can be sung by using the words, I'm Hooked Up To Power, or I've Got The Power.
